SACO Shipping - with its Headquarters in Hamburg and branches in Bremen, Duisburg, Vienna, Basel, Prague, Bratislava and Budapest, was founded in 1988.
The company has remained in private hands and is run by its owners Andrea Briks and Harald Pahl and the Managing Director Christian Wahl.
As a neutral NVOCC service provider with a worldwide network of agents, SACO Shipping unites countries and markets, meeting your requirements across all key methods of transportation.
SACO Shipping has over the years expanded its services to South America and is today represented in: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. SACO added new locations to the brand and now has locations on the African Continent: Egypt, Kenya, Ghana and Tanzania.
SACO can also be found in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and in the United Arab Emirates under the brand SSC Consolidation.
SACO is a member of the WorldWide Alliance (WWA). Founded in 2007, the WorldWide Alliance is made up of 15 members who are single handedly chosen for their leadership and extensive experience with each member being the strongest neutral LCL provider in their respective markets. With more than 5100 employees working in 184 offices in more than 75 countries, you can expect premium global coverage and support.

On the import side, SACO acts as receiving and transit agent for its worldwide network of agents and partners and currently offers its customers 85 direct services as well as over 200 comprehensive import services for transshipment. After unloading at each handling terminal, further national and international consolidation transport is available.
SACO is also your experienced partner for worldwide import and export in the FCL full container/OOG/Project sector. With the same neutral business model as LCL, the FCL product offers flexibility in terms of service and carriers.
